Origami

Origami is the ancient Japanese art of folding paper. As a child I regularly practiced this art by turning every piece of paper I came across into an airplane with wildly varying degrees of success. Eventually I attempted some beginner and intermediate designs from John Montroll's "Animal Origami for the Enthusiast."

As an adult I revisited that book, completing everything it had to offer, and began my journey as an advanced folder - experimenting with different papers, designers, books, and subjects.

Flowers, especially Naomiki Sato's roses, are currently some of my favorite pieces to fold.
